The Hapeville Maker Space was welcomed into the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Hapeville’s own Mayor Alan Hallman. The event included various activities such as live music, vendors, prizes, snacks, and tours of the new space.

Generation Infocus Executive Director Tiffany Ray says, “Our new 6600 sq.ft colonial home will be a melting pot of different ages, cultures and interests where our passions will be enhanced by our unique perspectives and goals. Our desire to INSPIRE, EMPOWER and INFLUENCE the next generation of change makers begins with the freedom to imagine, explore and create in a welcoming and collaborative environment.”

Through Historic preservation, The Hapeville Maker Space aligns with the Hapeville City redevelopment and revitalization goals to bring more public art and programming into the community. The Hapeville Maker Space will provide the following:

• Educational opportunities through project-based STEAM workshops

• Rentable conference and studio rooms

• An art gallery

• A healthy living garden

• After school & summer programs
