Veterinary Medicine
(Upper School)

Wednesdays @ 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM

Students will explore the wonderful world of veterinary science by dissecting the lives of pigs, cats, fish and more through hands on project based lessons. Students will learn all about the lives of animals and how they are similar to humans. Lessons may include but not be limited to learning about body functions such as creating lung models, analyze testing samples and learn essential techniques for maintaining animal health. This is a great class for students who have a passion for science and/or love animals.

Wearable Technology
(Upper School)

Fridays @ 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM

Tinkering girls and boys are invited to participate in this studio to learn how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics all can be used to transform clothing articles. This design-based studio will immerse students in the techniques surrounding garment engineering and circuitry in which they learn to incorporate LED lights. Students will be equipped to compete in construction challenges such as but not limited to creating a superhero themed e-textile cuff.
